Sunday Gatherings
On this Sunday you will experience a multi-media style event incorporating contemporary music. It is presented in an easy to understand format on relevant topics of life. It is informal and relaxed with time to eat and chat. This offers an alternative and relevant approach to church. All are welcome.
All children, toddlers and babies are welcome and catered for. We use specific, interactive, age appropriate material that helps young people learn more about the Bible, about themselves and each other. All who work with children and young people have been cleared through Disclosure Scotland and have experience with children. See the events page for Sunday Gathering dates.
Re:Gatherings
This type of Sunday explores more deeply topics introduced in our Gatherings. We use Bibles and discussion questions. The adults meet around tables in the bar area, while the children spend the whole time in the hall. If you like to find out more and allow more time for reflective chat then you will appreciate this form of Gathering. See the events page for Re:Gathering dates.
Messy Church
Messy Church is a chance to get messy, have fun and spend quality time together with every member of your family. Come and share breakfast, create your own ‘works of art’ and enjoy an interactive time with songs, puppets, stories, prayers and more. Family time is precious so come and do church together. Baby and Toddlers Group
Fancy a cuppa and a chat with other people with kids under 5? If so, come along and join our informal group. You can come every week or whenever you are able. We have a range of toys and activities to keep babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers busy and active.
The West Mearns Church Baby and Toddlers Group runs every Thursday from 10am to 11.30am at Whitecraigs Rugby Club. It is open to anyone with a wee one! We charge £1 per person per session to help cover our costs. Life Groups
Our life groups are the heart of our church. These are groups that meet regularly in all sorts of places, allowing us to get to know each other, pray with each other and learn and grow together. Church is more than just Sundays! We have life groups for men, women, young people and young parents, with more life groups starting up all the time.
